Perimeter Wig Bonding – Most Preferred in Bonding A Hair Piece
A major concern for many people wearing a hair system is whether it will stay in place. A natural-looking hair system is ideal, but it is wasted if it comes off while you are going about your daily activities. At 3rd Dimension Studios, we are careful to apply all of our hair systems in a way that ensures they stay in place, even when you are doing rigorous activities like swimming or exercising. Proper hair bonding is an important part of the process, and is just as essential as matching your hair piece to your existing hair to create a natural look.
The primary way we prefer to do wig bonding is with a perimeter system. This involves applying the adhesive on the perimeter of the hair system before placing it carefully on your head. This keeps the piece in place while still allowing the piece to breathe, which is much more comfortable on your scalp.
In order to ensure a tight fit, the professionals at 3rd Dimension Studios take special precautions when applying a new hair system. We first ensure that any leftover adhesive from a prior hair system is removed so that it does not interfere with the grip of the new adhesive. We also ensure that your scalp and any natural hair you have remaining is clean and free of oil before we apply your system, and we ensure it is completely dry before we get started.
Bonding a hair piece can be a tricky procedure, though we do this everyday for a number of our clients, and can also walk you through the process of applying your hair system if you are unable to visit our studios in person. We can assist you in ensuring that your hair piece stays put and looks natural at all times. Contact us today to learn about how hair systems work and which system is right for you.
