One concern that many clients have is keeping their hair systems bonded so that they do not move or fall off, and so that they remain natural-looking until it is time for a replacement.

We provide assistance to our clients on properly bonding their hair systems, from perimeter systems to lace front bonding instructions. Sometimes, clients want a full head bonded hair system. This is appropriate for certain permanent hair replacement systems and keeps the hair piece fully attached to the scalp underneath.

Full head bonding requires extra care to ensure proper application. Ridges and bumps can ruin the natural effect, so professional application is a good idea, though we can assist remote clients with careful instructions for those unable to make it to our studio. The adhesive used is medical grade, and must be used with a full foundation, whether it is skin or lace based.

The best way to apply a full head system is on a shaved scalp in order to provide maximum hair bonding. The application slow and take place from one part of the scalp to the other (front to back or back to front) in order to work out bumps and ridges.
