Customize Your Hair System With Your Desired Pattern
Aside from hair density and color, your hair pattern can also be a big factor in how natural a particular hair piece looks for you. It can also determine which hair replacement bonding techniques need to be used for affixing your chosen piece. There are many different types of hair patterns, and 3rd Dimension Studios works hard to find the right hair systems hair pattern that will work with your existing hair.
Hair tends to fall into three broad categories: straight, wavy, and curly. Each of these categories has subtle variations as well, and we carefully evaluate you to properly match your hair.
Straight Hair
Straight hair tends to be shiny and rests flat against the head. This type of hair tends to withstand damage more easily due to the availability of natural oils, which are not hampered by curls. This type of hair can range from soft and thin to coarse hair that is difficult to curl.
Wavy Hair
Next on the spectrum is wavy hair. This type of hair also tends to rest against the head and can still have the slight sheen present in straight hair, though the more wavy the hair, the less sheen is present. Generally, wavy hair has a loose S pattern that is more defined the wavier the hair gets. This type of hair can be very versatile; when it is thin and fine, it tends to transition well between straight or curly, though coarser wavy hair can have a more defined S pattern and is less flexible in terms of styling.
Curly Hair
Curly hair tends to have a thicker hair density than other types of hair. It also involves significant S patterns which are clearly defined, or even springy, tight spirals. This hair tends to have faint sheen and is prone to some dryness. It can be damaged and requires some extra care compared to other hair types, but can also have lots of body and style.
